Just few driving minutes to the park offices for the briefing about the mountain gorillas and the habitat as well. After the briefing you will be allocated to a gorilla family and always in a group of 08 travelers enter into the jungle looking for the rare mountain gorillas.
Have hot lunch and after and then in the evening visit to the IbyI’wacu cultural village and experience the Rwanda cultural performance and this is done by the once gorilla hunters and now gorilla eco – warriors and since this project is based on the ecotourism concept, we very much customize it into our Rwanda gorilla safari itineraries.
Thereafter, encountering the mountain gorillas we went again into the same rain tropical forest and experience another endangered primate that is the golden monkeys in the mist. This experience does not take too long walk to seeing them and after again we went back to our luxury lodge for the hot lunch and refreshments and after we visited the Dian Fossey Museum campus that has been modernized by the Ellen project and here, we experienced all the conservation programs that were done by this great American primatologist and the new concepts put in place to successfully promote the gorilla conservation in the Virunga Mountain ranges.
