Day1: Arrival Kigali
Upon arrival at the Kigali International Airport, meet and greet with our team and after transfer to the Heaven Retreat. Have dinner and overnight stay at this lavish boutique in the center of the city. Meal plan: Dinner & Breakfast.
Day2: Kigali – Akagera National Park (Sun Set Boat Cruise)
After breakfast, and embark the safari jeep and transfer to Akagera National Park. There are beautiful sceneries you shall be exposed to along the way, we shall then check-in at Magash Exclusive Camp and have a rest. After Lunch in the Afternoon, you will go for one of Africa’s most wonderful sun set boat cruise for photographic game viewing in Akagera National Park looking for various wildlife species like elephants, Kobs, warthogs, water and bush bucks, giraffes, buffaloes among others at the shores of the Lake Rwanyakazinga. While on this cruise also expect to spot variety of birds. Return for diner and overnight at Magash Exclusive Camp. Meal plan: F/B

Day3: Full Day Game Drive in Akagera National Park
After early cup of coffee proceed to a dawn game drive to catch up with early raisers and predators returning to their hideouts. The game drive will reward you with chances to see a variety elephant, buffaloes, lions, Maasai giraffe, gazelles, impala, baboons, oribi, Butchel’s zebra, topi, bush baby, leopard and bush buck among others. Today we shall go with our packed lunch from the lodge as we shall be going in the other sector of the park and we shall return in the evening. Day4: Akagera – Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, meet with our guide and embark the safari jeep and transfer to Bisate Lodge in Volcanoes National Park and at 13:00 PM check in with the Bisate Lodge for lunch. Dinner and overnight at Bisate Lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Day5: Rwanda Gorilla Trekking & Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village
After early breakfast, we shall head for a briefing about Gorilla trekking in Rwanda at the Kinigi Station, then head straight to the slopes of the Forest. Gorilla trekking is no-longer quite strenuous, we send an advance team so you can move direct to the spot where the advance team has located the Gorillas. Maximum permitted time with the Gorillas is 01-hour, return to the lodge for lunch. Evening visit to the Iby’Iwacu cultural village experiencing the Rwanda culture from once the gorilla hunters and now Eco – warriors. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight at Bisate Lodge. Day6: Golden Monkey Tracking – Kigali
Have breakfast and after again return to the park offices and get briefing about the golden monkey and then enter into the jungle and trek the primates. Lunch after with our guide take leisurely drive back to Kigali and take evening relaxing at Heaven Retreat for dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan: F/B
Day7: Kigali City Tour & Departure
Have breakfast, after take Kigali city tour visiting to Kigali genocide memorial and other great historical places in the city. Lunch after drive to the Kigali International Airport for your return flight back home. End of services!

What to wear/bring
Dress codes are informal. Daytime temperatures are generally warm, so bring lots of light clothing, supplemented by light sweaters for the cool evenings and heavier clothing for the higher altitudes especially volcanoes. When tracking gorillas layering your clothing is the best idea and we suggest: long sleeved shirts, cotton or gore tex trousers, strong walking shoes with ankle support, socks that you can tuck your trousers into, light gloves to protect your hands from thorns and nettles, a hat and sunglasses to provide protection against the sun and a waterproof jacket in neutral colors may come in handy in the moist mountains.
Travel light and remember that soft-sided luggage is required. One medium sized duffel bag and one small day pack (carry-on) per person should be adequate. Laundry services are available at most accommodations. You should also pack some zip lock bags for spare clothing, cameras, binoculars and film. Please note that you are not allowed to use a flash when photographing Gorillas. It is a good idea to take along several different speeds of film (64 to 1000) as gorillas can be found in open sun or in the dark underbrush of the forest.
