Day1: Kigali-Volcanoes Gorilla Park
After breakfast from your hotel of stay, meet our driver-guide for the orientation about the safari and after transfer via the terrain land forms of Rwanda to Ruhengeri in Musanze District with Lunch en-route and visit to some of genocide memorial sites.
If you arrive early take an evening village walk in Ruhengeri and then return to Virunga Safari Lodge/Sabyinyo Silver Back Lodge/Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Lebombou Gorilla Lodge/Laplame for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: H/B
Day2: Rwanda Gorilla Safari
Early morning cup of coffee, thereafter transfer to the park head office for briefing about the mountain gorillas and other tourism resources within the park, thereafter enter into the rain forest jungle to search for the endangered mountain gorillas in their mist, it is one hour allowed to stay with the gorillas as you take unforgettable photography and videos and after return back to the park office for your awarding gorilla trekking certificate.
Evening visit the Iby’wacu Cultural Village and shop some the African art and crafts and then return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B
Day3: Golden Monkey Tracking-Visit Twin Lakes
After breakfast, transfer again to the park offices for briefing and after enter into the jungle tracking the golden monkey and this is half day experience. Lunch, after visit the 2 twin lakes (Burera and Ruhondo) in Africa. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B
Day4: Rwanda – Kisoro – Lake Mutanda
After your morning breakfast embark the safari jeep and take scenic drive towards Uganda via Cyanika border and have your lunch in Kisoro town and thereafter transfer to your lodge for check in, evening take the canoeing along the volcanic Mutanda Lake.
Dinner and overnight at Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge/Lake Mutanda Resort/Nkuringo Gorilla Camp/Gorilla Safari Lodge/Gorilla Valley Lodge. Meal plan: F/B
Day5: Batwa Cultural Trail Experience
The dense forests at the foot of the Virunga Volcanoes were home to the Batwa people: hunter-gatherers and fierce warriors who depended on the forest for shelter, food and medicine thanks to ancient knowledge passed down for generations.
When Mgahinga Gorilla National Park was established, the Batwa, a group of indigenous people, were suddenly evicted from the forest and forced to abandon their low-impact, nomadic lifestyle. Now landless, they work for local farmers. The only time they are permitted to re-enter their cherished forest is as tour guides on the Batwa Trail.
A visit to the Batwa trail permits visitors to discover the magic of the indigenous people old home while partaking in nature walks and learning about the group’s cultural heritage.
During this moving cultural encounter tour, the Batwa demonstrate hunting techniques; gather honey; point out medicinal plants and demonstrate bamboo cups.
Guests are finally invited to the sacred Ngarama Cave, once home to the Batwa King, where the women of the community perform a sorrowful song which echoes eerily around the depths of the dark cave, and leaves guests with a striking and moving sense of the richness of this fading culture.

Day6: Uganda Gorilla Trekking
Breakfast, then transfer to the park offices for briefing about the gorillas and the trekking in the mist. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation is an inspiring and privileged moment.
Tracking in the Bwindi forest requires fitness and can often take most of the day. Take a guided walk in the rain forest, home to several endemic bird species, clouds of butterflies and rare plant life.
This walk offers excellent photographic opportunities and the knowledgeable guide will provide a great insight into this globally important habitat. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B
Day7: Kisoro – Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, embark our safari jeep and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and upon your arrival check in to your accommodation facility either Arcadia Cottages or Bunyonyi Bird Nest Lodge for your lunch and after take a boat ride along the deepest Crater Lake in Uganda visiting dotted beautiful islands and local communities staying on these islands and you may have chance to spot various bird life species. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B
Day8: Lake Bunyonyi – Kigali for Departure
Breakfast and after start your journey to Kigali via Katuna Border with lunch en-route in the Kigali town. Before transferring to the airport, there may be time to tour the city and visit the genocide memorial, a moving testimony to this country’s past that it has courageously overcome and after transfer to the airport in time for your return flight departure.
